Twix Bars

Twix bars are a sweet and salty dessert that is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Twix Bars

These bars have been one of my favorite desserts for as long as I can remember so I am so excited to share the recipe with everyone! I am not sure why they are called twix bars because they are not really like a twix but hey…twix bars are delicious…these bars are delicious…so we’re just going with it!

Twix Bars

These bars are layered with a buttery caramely mixture and Club crackers.  The caramel mixture is made of butter, milk, sugar, and graham cracker crumbs.  This mixture is so good on its own, I may or may not have been licking it off the spoon as I assembled these bars.

These bars are topped with a peanut butter chocolate frosting that is to DIE for.  It has chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter.  It tops these sweet and salty bars off perfectly!

These look amazing and I love the idea of using Club crackers instead of making a shortbread crust to save time! I can’t wait to try them. Your photo has me drooling! Thanks for sharing!
